Trading pins are not just for the players and coaches but umpires as well.  This provides them with the opportunity to trade with other empires and with the players from teams all across the U.S.  In addition to making new friends, they also get to collect pins from every state in the nation.  Who doesn’t love having a big and varied collection of custom trading pins in their possession?

At Cooperstown and the Little League World Series, pin trading is an anticipated event.  Every bit as exciting as the tournament itself, players, coaches, and umpires from all over the world gather together to show off their trading pin collections.  They get to decide which pins are worth parting with and which ones are worth hanging onto.  They also get to make offers to other traders in regards to their custom trading pins.  This makes for a fun, friendly, and interactive experience each year.

Umpires Play Big Role at Games and Tournaments

Without the help of umpires (which a large majority are volunteers), the summer tournaments that kids love to attend would not be possible.  These professionals are a major part of the entire baseball and softball experience.  That’s why they all should have their very own pins to trade.

Games and tournaments bring people together which makes it the perfect opportunity to trade pins.  The more attractive the pin the better the chance it will be traded first.  That’s where we are the most helpful.  We have helped design thousands of pins throughout the years and we know what qualities make them tradable.  Spinners, sliders, blinkies, bobble heads, and danglers are all popular trading pin styles.

Classic Design Proves Umpires Mean Business

The umpires that we have created custom lapel pins like to incorporate an image of an umpire in a classic stance like calling balls and strikes behind the plate, or standing in the ready position down one of the base lines.  They also incorporate the city or state where they hail from as a way to personalize their pins.  Details like these add to the overall appearance of the custom trading pins and give them higher perceived value.

Part of the appeal of custom products is the ability to make them personal and meaningful for the people that order them.  That’s why we go above and beyond what is asked from us so our customers can get the umpire pins that they envisioned.  We can take any idea or concept and turn it into a quality pin that everyone wants in their collection.

Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com/tradingpins.html/ to see samples of the pins we have created for our customers.  Once you have determined what you want on your umpire pins, call 1-800-252-0904 or email info@lapelpinsplus.com to speak to a representative about getting a free price quote and full color digital proof.

On the Water is a large-format, full-color monthly magazine that covers fishing and boating in the Northeast.  It covers New England as well as New York and New Jersey angling.  Both editions contain features and columns written by local anglers.  The company contacted us because they wanted to promote the Striper Cup, the Northeast’s Premier Fishing Tournament.  They wanted custom lapel pins created for the event and knew that we were the company to call about placing their order.

Thicker Design Adds Value to Lapel Pins

Based on the company’s specifications, we created quality pins that they could really be proud of.  The pins that we designed were thicker than the normal ones we usually produce.  They came in at 2.4 mm which makes them feel substantial.  The perceived value of these pins is higher than small pins because of their appearance and weightiness.

Different Plating Options Signify Different Levels of Achievement

Different platings were used along with creating different molds that represented the different weight class of caught fish (e.g. 30 lb, 40, 50, 70).  This is a cost effective way to have multiple pins for one event.  All you have to do is let us know that this is of interest to you when you submit your design ideas to us.

3D Images Add Dimension

The oversized 3D image of the sought after “striped bass” is the prominent feature of the pin.  The extra thickness of the pin allowed us to gain extra depth in our 3D design which translates into a more realistic looking fish.  The pins that we created for On the Water are similar to the challenge coins that we have to offer.

Different Types of Backings For Your Lapel Pins

We added two posts on the back of the pin so that they would not spin when pinned to a shirt, jacket, or cap.  This is the perfect example of custom backings.  You even have the option of adding a magnetic backing or removing the post altogether.

Adding a sponsor to the pin is a great way for the sponsor company to promote itself.  They can include their logo or chosen image as well as their name, URL or email address.  If you want a custom lapel pin that stands out at a tournament or event, you should give us a call.

The number to reach us at is 1-800-252-0904.  Our email is info@lapelpinsplus.com.  You can also visit us on the web at http://www.lapelpinsplus.com.

Lately,  Department of Corrections (DOP) officers are contacting us and to ask for help designing and manufacturing custom challenge coins for their institutions.  Just like with military personnel, officers at these institutions become very close to other officers.  They are constantly on guard and always protecting one another from harm’s way.

Custom Challenge Coins Boost Morale of Close Knit Teams

Working in these close quarters day in and day out gives the officers a feeling of pride knowing that each day they protected not only inmates, but also fellow officers.  Custom challenge coins are used to build the morale of these close knit teams as well as to identify special groups within the institutions that are responsible for certain specialized duties (like the riot team).

Double Sided Designs Make Room For More Images and Text

If you’re looking for a truly unique design for your challenge coins, you may want to use both sides.  For example, incorporate your patch on one side and then your institution on the other.  This allows you to establish identity in two different ways.  First, you get to state your identity on a local level.  Next, you get to state your identity on a national level.  This allows you to be affiliated with the Department of Corrections of your state as well as that of North America.

Customizing Coins is Easy with Challenge Coins Plus

The unique personality of each team can be represented by a custom challenge coin in countless ways, the only limit is your imagination.  Choose a 3D image, dual plating or even sequential numbering for your coins.  This allows your design to be rich in detail and attractive in appearance.

If you are not an artist, that is perfectly ok.  Just give us a call or email us and we have a talented art department ready to take your vision and turn it into a reality.  Visit http://www.challengecoinsplus.com, email info@challengecoinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free to find out how.

Did you know that July 28th is National Milk Chocolate Day?  Well, it is!  Chocolate lovers and chocolate clubs can express their appreciation for chocolate by wearing a custom lapel pin.  Groups can get really creative and design a pin that looks like their favorite chocolate bar.  Communities without a chocolate lovers club can start one and hand out pins at their next meeting.  This allows members of the community to get to know one another and share their love for one of people’s favorite indulgences.

What is Milk Chocolate?

You may want to know what milk chocolate consists of. It’s a mixture consisting of solid cocoa and either dry or condensed milk.  Milk chocolate makes some really delicious candy bars.  In fact, it is one of the most popular ingredients used by confectioners worldwide.  You may even want to sample drinking chocolate or hot chocolate or use a milk chocolate candy bar like Hershey’s to make s’mores.

Chocolate Elevates Your Mood

Milk chocolate has mood altering benefits.  That’s right.  Eating a square or two can help you feel great.  That’s because chocolate contains a stimulant called theobromine and a compound called anadamide.  This gives you another thing to celebrate on National Milk Chocolate Day!

Sharing Your Love for Chocolate By Sharing Custom Lapel Pins

You can satisfy your sweet tooth by sharing a milk chocolate bar with people in your community.  You can also hand them a cool, custom lapel pin.  This helps others to recognize you and your club.  It also encourages participation.  New members will feel honored to wear your chocolate inspired pin.  They’ll also be more excited to talk to others about what type of meetings that you have.

You don’t have to have a standard post on your pins. We have magnetic backing, safety pin backing, and other customized backing options for you to choose from.  Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com to request your free quote.

Rotary International is a worldwide organization consisting of service clubs known as Rotary Clubs. The organization brings together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Membership is to people of all races, colors, creeds, genders, or political preferences.

There are 33,976 clubs and over 1.22 million members worldwide.  Rotarians meet on a weekly basis usually for breakfast, lunch or dinner to discuss goals and to come up with common solutions to any issues that may have come up.  The organization’s best-known motto is “Service above Self,” and its secondary motto is “They profit most who serve best”.

One Symbol and Many Uses

We create custom rotary pins for clubs all over the world.  Most incorporate the Rotary International Emblem which is a yellow colored gear (see example here in this blog).  Pins are used in many different ways.  Here are just a few that we see often:

  • To display membership
  • To promote awareness for a particular service project or a cause that the individual rotary club is involved in
  • Conference pins where multiple clubs meet
  • Thank you pins for business that donate time, money and other resources to benefit a local rotary project

Lapel Pins Are Versatile and Valuable

The versatility and value of lapel pins make them an excellent tool for rotary clubs to use.  One of the most appealing aspects of custom lapel pins is the fact that they can be created in all sizes, shapes, and colors.  They don’t have to be round.  In fact, they can be cut to any shape at no additional cost.

Ways That Youth Get Involved in Their Local Rotary Club

High schools have rotary clubs that get students involved in helping their communities through service projects and volunteering with the hopes that once they graduate and become part of the working society, they will get involved with their local rotary club.  This helps build presence in a city and assists those in need more efficiently and effectively.

Our art department is ready to help you come up with your next rotary lapel pin design.  Just give us an idea of what you envision and let us do the rest.  We can transform the simplest ideas into the most spectacular lapel pins.

Sprint car racing is an exciting sport enjoyed by people in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.  These specially designed cars run on short oval dirt or paved tracks at speeds of up to 140 miles per hour.  A few of the most notable sprint car drivers include: Mario Andretti, Jeff Gordon, Ed Carpenter, and Sammy Swindell.

Sprint cars have a huge following of fans and have a variety of different circuits across the country.  Some of the most popular include IndyCar Series and NASCAR.  Fans follow their favorite drivers and often wear merchandise that features the sprint car racer’s name or number.  This allows them to show their support no matter where they go.

Custom lapel pins created for sprint car racers can be sold in storefronts and online.  Fans can purchase their favorite driver’s memorabilia and wear it wherever they go.  Because lapel pins are so easy to attach to clothing, it isn’t unusual to see fans wearing them on their shirts, jackets, and hats.

Ways Custom Lapel Pins Can Be Used in Sprint Car Racing

Here are some of the ways that custom lapel pins can be used:

  • Great for fans to wear the pin of the car that they follow and love to watch. This allows spectators to get involved in the excitement of sprint car racing.  It also shows support for their favorite drivers.
  • Drivers can hand out their own pin when they have autograph sessions to increase the value of meeting for the fans. This is the ultimate experience for fans.  They get to go home with a personal and meaningful souvenir.
  • Attach the sprint car pin to your hat as you head out to the races, this way everyone knows who you will be cheering for. Establish loyalty by showing the public why your favorite racer is the best.

Sizes and Shapes Make All the Difference

Custom pins can be created in whatever way the customer sees fit.  This gives you plenty of options as to how to design your own sprint car racing lapel pins.  Perhaps, you want to feature a driver’s number or car.  Maybe, you want to create an oversized pin with all the different wins a driver has had silk screened on the surface of it.  Whatever you think of, we can design it.  Just let us know your idea and concept when you request a free quote from us.

Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com today.  You can also email info@lapelpinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 with any questions that might be on your mind.  We want you to be happy with your order so that’s why we offer our knowledge and expertise to you through all of our free services.  You never pay for a quote, a full color digital proof or shipping when you order from us.

Gun clubs and shooting clubs are becoming more and more popular.  Just like other types of sports, tournaments and competitions are held to challenge shooters and give them a fierce dose of competition.  At these tournaments, participants receive pins for participation as well as for placing in the first, second, and third positions.  This allows the shooters to demonstrate skill and expertise.

Danglers Help Accentuate Lapel Pin Design

A popular type of sporting clay pin is like the one you see here.  There is a main larger pin and from that main pin danglers hang off.  The danglers can be like the pin pictured here which shows different titles or the danglers can simply have years of participation and such.

The dangler was specially made to connect to other danglers.  Because of the width of the dangler, we advised going with a 2 point system so that the dangler didn’t spin.  Being able to see the image on the front of the dangler was crucial to the lapel pin’s design.

Trading Pins with Other Shooters Helps Add a Sense of Fun

Shooting club teams also design and create lapel pins that represent their club so that they can trade them with members of other teams.  Including your club name, the state that you are from and an image of a favorite gun will get you well on the way to designing your own custom pin.  These personalized characteristics make for memorable exchanges with other shooters.  Small tokens like pins help each person remember the tournament or meeting.

Cloisonné Offers a High Polished, Jewelry-Like Finish

The pins were made in our cloisonné style which is top-of-the-line.  This type of pin is smooth to the touch and has a high polished, jewelry-like finish.  We can also create them in soft enamel or die struck as well.  This allows your club to choose the style of pin the best represents the team as a whole.

The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club is a non-profit fraternal organization consisting of active and retired law enforcement men and women who enjoy riding motorcycles. In the Spring of 1974, several law enforcement officers from the Bangor, Maine (USA) area met and formed a small, local motorcycle club. The rest, as they say, is history.

The Blue Knights have more than 635 chapters and 20,490 members in 29 countries.  This goes to show you that the interest in motorcycles remains strong.  We were approached by the group to create custom challenge coins for its members.  Items like these are becoming more and more popular with this group just like they are with firefighter club, Fire and Iron.

The Blue Knights make these coins for many reasons.  Here are a few:

  • To hand out to club members
  • To sell as fundraisers for their local charities
  • To remember lost members
  • To have a visual token of a particular benefit ride
  • To give away to other Blue Knights that they meet along their rides

Coins Are So Versatile That No Two Clubs’ Coins Are the Same

Custom challenge coins are so versatile that no two clubs will ever see theirs being sold elsewhere.  That’s because we create each one from scratch.  Even though we have a gallery of samples pictured on our website, we only use them as examples.  This gives you an idea of what we are capable of creating.

Custom Shapes Help Accentuate Challenge Coins

Coins don’t have to be round, they can be shaped like shields, or any other custom shape that you can imagine.  This makes them interesting to look at and real conversation pieces.  If you walk around with cool shaped challenge coins, people will take notice.

Don’t forget to order your acrylic coin cases to go with your custom challenge coins.  Should you present them at a ceremony, this detail adds a great touch.  Recipients of the coins will feel honored by the gesture.

The Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian is the oldest independent, non-profit museum in New Mexico.  It offers unique exhibitions of contemporary and historic Native American art.  From southwestern baskets to Cochitit figurines to modern Navajo and Pueblo jewelry, the museum also houses artwork of living Native American artists whom have been represented in an exhibition.

The Same Design in Different Colors Offers a Fresh Perspective

For years, we have assisted the Wheelwright Museum with their custom lanyard needs.  In fact, they are one of our loyal customers.  They change the color of the lanyard for each new order.  This allows them to have a fresh look each year or with each new exhibit that’s on display.

Identifying Patrons is Easy With Badge Holder Attachments

Patrons of the museum wear the lanyards that have ID badges connected to them.  This allows them to be easily identifiable.  They also serve as effective marketing tools. Once the patrons leave the museum with the lanyards on, the advertising begins.

The j-hook attachment is a great choice because of its durability as well as its flexibility when it comes to attaching to different ID holders.  That’s why it is a popular choice among museums and other businesses that use lanyards to identify employees and patrons.

Branding is Easy When You Incorporate Your Museum Logo

Incorporating the museum logo on the lanyard is a great way to help the general population start to recognize the logo and immediately associate it with the museum.  This is a great way to get the community involved with special events and traveling exhibits.  All a person has to do is take a look at the lanyard and your logo to know where it came from.

Order your custom lanyards today.  Visit http://www.customlanyardsplus.com, email info@customlanyardsplus.com or call 1-800-519-9319 toll-free.  We have all of the answers you need to help you place your custom lanyard order.

When you think of casinos, you may envision Las Vegas but that’s not the only place you will find them.  These booming businesses are located all over the country and the world.  That’s because people love the excitement involved with playing slot machines and card games like Blackjack and Texas Hold ‘Em.

Lapel Pins Are Effective Marketing Tools

Each casino has its own rewards program and VIP program.  Establishing identity in a community and online is important for these businesses because it helps fray advertising costs.  They do this in a number of different ways.  One of the most immediate and effective marketing tools that they adopt is custom lapel pins.  When handed out to patrons, they work along with word-of-mouth advertising.

Customization Makes Pins Stand Out

Our lapel pins are 100% customizable so you can design a pin for all of the different groups of patrons that visit your casino each year as well as the staff members that keep operations running smoothly.  This gives you unlimited options because you can select the size, shape, style, and color of lapel pins that you want created.  You can also request cut outs, glitter, blinking lights, dangling charms, and simulated gemstones if you think it will enhance the artwork that we create for you.

Lapel Pins Take Place of Bulky Name Tags For High Stakes Players

Instead of wearing a bulky name tag, visitors to your casino can wear a sleek, custom lapel pin describing the level of patron that they are.  This allows everyone to know that they are a high stakes player and should be given all the perks that go along with that title.

Casinos also have lots of different restaurants and clubs which attract crowds of people.  If a valued customer is wearing his/her lapel pin, they can be easily identified by management and escorted to the front of the line.

Sell Pins In a Gift Shop or Hand Them Out to Patrons At Special Events

Another option is to resell casino pins in the gift shop or hand them out at special events as a way to say “Thank You!”.  Small gift items like these leave a big impression on the recipients.  If you want to encourage loyalty, you should think about ordering custom lapel pins for your patrons.

Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com today to see what we can do for you.  Like the customer whose pin is featured here, we can take your idea and turn it into a custom lapel pin that represents the excitement and professionalism of your casino.  Call 1-800-252-0904 or email info@lapelpinsplus.com today.
