The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) also known as the Elks Lodge or Elks
was founded in 1868.  It is an American fraternal order and social club with nearly one million members.  With so many members and governing positions, there are many uses for lapel pins.  A basic way of identifying certain ranks is easily accomplished with our pins.

Here are some of positions found in local Elks Lodge offices:

Chair Officers

  • Exalted Ruler
  • Esteemed Leading Knight
  • Esteemed Loyal Knight
  • Esteemed Lecturing Knight

Other Lodge Officers

  • Esquire
  • Inner Guard
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Tiler
  • Chaplain
  • Trustee (5 yr.)
  • Trustee (4 yr.)
  • Trustee (3 yr.)
  • Trustee (2 yr.)
  • Trustee (1 yr.)
  • Organist
  • Justice of the Subordinate Forum

Groups like the Elks and the Masons do lots of charity work in their communities. Handing out these one of a kind pins helps boost the name recognition of the group and it shows the locals that these men are trying to do good things for their community.

Often, individual lodges create custom elk pins for years of service of their members.  For example, if you reach 5 years, 10 years, 15 years etc. you will receive a pin that everyone will recognize.  This builds morale in the group and it raises pride with members.

Some Elks pins are used during election time at the lodge.  If you are running for a certain office in the lodge, consider creating a pin to help your campaign really get your name out to other members that may not be good at associating a name with a face.

If you’re on the grand level, you may be in charge of creating a pin for all of the Elks in your region.  We can help you with this.  Just give us a call and we will take you step by step through the process.  It is quickand easy and surprisingly fun.

Whether you are a retiring school teacher, businessman or public servant retiring is a goal many Americans dream of.  Typically putting in about 30 years in the work force will get you close to this goal, some may need more time, some may need less.  Most folks that retire like to throw a party to mark this significant milestone in their life.

At these parties, gifts are given to the honoree but the honoree often times gives a gift to each person in attendance.  We have been designing and producing retirement lapel pins for just this purpose.  These tiny pieces of jewelry are wonderful mementos.  They typically will have the retirement date, along with the date the person entered the workforce.

Sometimes they have a funny saying that means something deeper to the honoree.  We have seen pins that have the company or organization logo the retiree worked at incorporated on the pin.  For this type of ceremony, we would recommend placing your pin in an acrylic presentation box that we offer.  This makes the gift that much more special and thoughtful.

Contact us before your retirement ceremony with your request for custom lapel pins.  We can help you select a design that is outstanding in appearance and sentiment.  Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com to request a free price quote and email file containing the artwork we created for you.  Email info@lapelpinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  We want to make this milestone extra special for you.

The benefits of running include great cardiovascular conditioning, toned muscles, and increased energy levels.  It is because of these benefits along with many others that competitive running clubs are popping up all over the place.  We have had the privilege of designing and producing running pins for a few of these clubs across the U.S.  The clubs typically have a general membership pin along with other more unique pins.

The unique are being made for personal bests, or milestones that are being reached.  If you have a goal of a 5 minute mile, then your club may have a pin that they will reward you with once you meet that goal.  Runners also trade their pins with other running enthusiasts at meets so that they can create pin collections of their own.

If you’re a large club, consider using gold pins for one class of runners, silver pins for another, and copper for a 3rd class of runner.  This doesn’t cost any extra but helps you to identify what type of runner you are looking at.  It’s just one more way we custom make your pins.

If your club is hosting an event, create custom running pins that you can sell to raise money for a charity or your club.  Or, give them out for free at the sign in table.  Either way, you can go wrong.

Put your running club on the map this year.  Create custom lapel pins to hand out to members.  Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com to request a no obligation, free price quote and email file containing the custom artwork that we created for you.  Email your logo or choice of photograph to info@lapelpinsplus.com.  You can also call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  We can help you determine what size, shape, and style of pins best meet your needs.

Towns and cities across this beautiful country have been contacting us to make custom town pins recently.  The towns are using the pins to help lift the morale of its inhabitants.  When a town pin is presented to you, a feeling of pride immediately comes over you. You feel special and you feel welcome which lifts your spirits.  Town leaders realize this so they are making pins that they can hand out to folks along the way.

Government pins are also handed out to special VIP visitors who come to take whatever the town has to offer. This way they leave with a custom pin reminding them of the time and the people they encountered.  We have seen pins be made to help promote a town initiative such as new recycling initiatives, or a crime prevention strategy. Pins are great for this because they get your message out very effectively and easily.

Your pins can be soft enamel, cloisonné, offset printed or die struck depending on your needs and preferences.  They can also be whatever size, shape, and colors that you want as well.  This allows you to personalize the pin’s design and give people a truly remarkable keepsake that they’ll want to hold onto for years and years.

We also offer presentation options that will help take your lapel pin gift to the next level.  We sell velvet bags, acrylic cases and custom cardstock for you to choose from.  Decide which one works best for your needs.  We’ll be more than happy to assist you with your request by offering you our skills and expertise.

We will even be happy to help you come up with a lapel program to reward outstanding employees or to acknowledge years of service.  Let us know what you have in mind.  Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com for more information about the ordering process.  Email info@lapelpinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  We’ll take your design ideas and transform them into amazing lapel pins for you to hand out.

Hotel pins have picked back up in popularity. We think it is because businesses like hotels are always looking to differentiate themselves from their competitors. By adding a lapel pin program to the hotel, they are showing prospective customers that they are stepping their game up.

Hotels use pins in lots of different ways. They use them to hand out to VIP guests. If an important guest is coming to stay at the hotel, they might find a new, shiny custom lapel pin on their pillow once they get settled in. This is a classy touch that has tons of meaning and thought behind it but is very easy to provide for your customer.

Staff members and front office execs love to wear the pins as well. We can help you design a program that recognizes the years of service each employee has reached. Also, if there are certain programs that each employee needs to complete for ongoing training, we can help design a pin program for that as well.

Hotel pins look nice on all uniforms and help them to stand out among normal hotel attire.  You can even have magnetic backs put on the pins to keep them from poking holes in clothing.  Just let us know that you’re interested in this option when you contact us for a free price quote.

The use of lapel pins in hotels in almost endless. Contact us today for a free price quote.  You can request one through our website located at http://www.lapelpinsplus.com, by emailing info@lapelpinsplus.com or calling 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  We’ll be more than happy to assist you with your request by creating quality, custom pins that meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

The Tour de France takes place each year in late June.  Why not coordinate a cycling club event during this time?  There’s no better occasion than now to celebrate bicycling as a sport than during one of the most famous races of all time.

Custom lapel pins can be created using your cycling club emblem and handed out to people in attendance at your viewing party or bike ride.  This is a great way to thank people for coming out to see your members ride their bikes or cheer on their favorite competitive cyclist.

Pins can be created in different colors or metals for volunteers and bikers.  This allows the crowd to differentiate between the two groups and direct questions and praise to the appropriate parties.  Custom pins can be worn on lanyards with badge holder attachments that contain each volunteer or cyclist’s name.  We offer lanyards to lapel pin customers as a way of addressing their every need appropriately.

Gear up for the Tour de France in June by getting your custom lapel pin order in early this year.  Contact us now to get a head start on the design process.  Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com to see examples of soft enamel, cloisonne, offset printed, and die struck lapel pins in your choice of sizes, shapes, and colors.

Once you’re inspired by our designs, email your ideas to info@lapelpinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  We’ll put our creativity to work by designing custom artwork using your specifications as a guide for your cycling club. Approve your design and pay for your order in full.  We’ll then send your proof to our production department for manufacturing.  In a matter of no time, you’ll have your cyclist pins in hand to give out to members of your cycling club.

Community colleges are great places to go to after high school graduation.  The academic institutes make it easy for students to stay close to family members and friends, get their first two years of academics accomplished, and make new friends.

Smaller classes give larger campuses a personal feel.  Student groups allow like-minded students to form lasting friendships and bonds.  It’s these small groups that are contacting us to create their community college pins.

Small schools within the colleges like the school of nursing or school or architecture also like designing pins.  The pins help members feel like they belong which is one of the biggest benefits of creating custom lapel pins for your educational institution.

Most community college pins also incorporate the school name or seal if possible.  This is a great way to make the pins personal and memorable.  A student can wear their pin with pride and tell others what they think of the education and experiences they’re getting at the community college that they attend.

Meet with your small group now to discuss an idea you may have for pins.  Then, contact one of our experienced representatives to get the process going.  We will do all of the work, all you have to do is keep an eye on your email inbox.

It’s that time of year again.  The end of the school year is in sight so that means Destination Imagination, DI, is about to get started.  Teams from all over the country have been contacting us to create this year’s pins.

DI is a competition for school age kids that give teams the opportunity to solve open-ended Challenges and present their solutions at tournaments.  In addition to learning life skills like time management, conflict resolution, and collaboration, DI participants engage in a lot of fun.  Teams get together before going to the finals and create pins that they will ultimately trade away for other teams’ pins.

DI pins are almost always large in size, around 2” or so.  They have lots of loud and crazy colors, are themed, and have images and text that have secret meaning to the team that designs it.  Maybe the phrase is an inside joke that has become a memorable part of their study time routines.

Consider adding glitter to your pin to catch other DIer’s attention.  You want your pin to scream “Here I am, come and get me” so that you will get your pick of pins at the DI Global Finals.

Destination Imagination pins are sometimes put together to form a set.  A set can be two, 3, 4 or more pins that when combined all together, form a set.  This is a new craze among the DI world.

Don’t forget to add the tournament location and date on your pins so you can remember the experiences you had there.  Abbreviations are popular on DI pins.  You’ll see them on a number of the designs that we do for Destination Imagination.

Contact us today to get the design process started.  We’re available to receive your request via our website, email address or toll-free phone number.  Reach out to us by visiting http://www.lapelpinsplus.com, emailing info@lapelpinsplus.com or calling 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  We can’t wait to get started on a free price quote and the custom artwork we create for you.

Lately, we have noticed a significant rise in customers who have contacted us that are in to electronica, house and dubstep music.  These enthusiasts are making pins that they are then taking on the road with them to trade with other fans.  Bright colors, wild pictures, sharp detailed patterns are all common with these concert pins.  Abstract representations of laser lights from a stage show are often times incorporated into the lapel pins.

Big sizes seem to be the norm as well. Most pins are 1.5” to 2” in size.  We have noticed that a lot of the pins we are creating use our black metal plating instead of traditional gold or silver.  Fans are also adding sequential numbering to the back of the pins which can look like a simple 1 or 12 or 107.  Or the numbering can 1/100, 2/100, 15/100 etc.  We can stamp the back of your pins either way.

Dubstep music fans also like to make sure their pins will be always straight on their garment and hats so they have us add a second post on the back of the pin to ensure a nice, straight pin.  Details like these make all the difference when customizing your order of electronica music lapel pins.

Do you have a favorite house music band?  Are you about to set out to follow them on tour?  If so, please contact us today to learn how we can help you design and produce the perfect concert lapel pins.

Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com for more information.  You can email your ideas to info@lapelpinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  We’ll send you a free price quote and email file containing the custom artwork that we created for you.  Take advantage of our free artwork and design services today.  Your satisfaction is our guarantee.
