Are you looking for a way to set your trading pins apart from the crowd in 2013? Why not try these add-on options on for size.  We offer soft enamel pins as spinners, sliders, danglers, blinkies, and bobble heads.  We also have the following add-on options for you to choose from: glitter, cut outs, and silkscreening.  Who doesn’t love customizing their pins to fit the unique spirit of their athletic team?

Custom trading pins are a great way to build long lasting relationships with other teams.  They help break the ice at games and tournaments and make every team walk away feeling like winners no matter what the final score is.  Pin trading events are so popular these days that many of the hotels prepare for Cooperstown by cordoning off entire rooms so players can have a space to spread their pins out and start swapping with other athletes.

If you need a way for players to store and display pins between games, consider ordering custom lanyards to go with your pins.  The handy accessories can also be used to hold IDs and electronic room keys from the hotels your players will be staying at.  We offer a badge holder attachment that is perfect for carrying things in.

Get your custom trading pins in time for your first game of the season.  Contact us right away for a free price quote and email file containing the custom artwork we created for you.  Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com for more information about the designing and ordering processes.  You can email info@lapelpinsplus.com with your ideas or call a representative at 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  We’ll be more than happy to assist you with your request by creating quality, custom trading pins for you and your baseball or softball team this year.

Have you been at a Little League tournament and a certain trading pin is receiving all of the buzz?  Sometimes it seems that every person you talk to asks you “have you seen the so and so pin”.  This summer, your pin can be the one receiving all of the praise and attention.

Here are a few tricks to help you with this endeavor:

  • The first is size.  No matter how great your pins are, they need to be a big enough size to catch ones attention.
  • The second is design.  A great design is critical.
  • The third way is with add-ons.  We offer add-ons such as glitter paint, spinners and blinking lights to help take your pin to the next level.
  • Glitter paint adds the shimmer that literally catches your eye in the sunlight.
  • Spinners are parts of the pins that actually spin in a circle.  Sliders travel left to right or up and down along a fixed line on your pin.
  • Blinking lights or “blinkies” flash a bright red light which is a great way to get noticed.
  • Danglers are great because they allow for more customization and they are very reasonably priced.
  • Gemstones are also a great and effective way to liven your pin up.
  • We have many more tricks of the trade that we can share with you with just a quick call to one of our experienced sales representatives.

Custom lanyards are a great add on item to your trading pin order.  Lately, we have been getting a lot of questions about lanyards.  Little league teams are becoming very interested in these items that are great for kids and adults alike.

Travel teams and AAU teams are ordering custom lanyards to hand out to the players but also to the family members of the players.  This way, when the kids look up in the stands, they can easily spot their fans because of the lanyards that are around their neck.  You can imprint your team name and city/state as well as your logo.

We recommend going with the imprinted polyester option because it can print the most detail.  We even have large badge holders that attach to the bottom of the lanyard so that you can put your current roster in for quick access.

Kids really seem to like the lanyards that have a buckle release at the bottom.  This way, they can detach the bottom part of the lanyard without having to remove the entire lanyard.  We also offer breakaway options which are safe for children.

Pin your recent collection of trading pins to your lanyard to give it that added flair.  This is a great way to show people your growing number of custom pins.  It’s also a way to display the pins in your home or office easily.

Create custom lanyards today.  Visit http://www.customlanyardsplus.com to request a free price quote and email attachment containing a file of the custom artwork that we created for you.  Email your request to info@customlanyardsplus.com.  You can also call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  We can’t wait to get started on your custom lanyard order today.

For the last few weeks, inquiries for baseball trading pins are slowly increasing each day.  Teams from all over the country are getting a head start on the designing and ordering of their team trading pins.  We’re busy helping other teams design and come up with the newest and coolest designs for this year’s tournaments and we want to help you too.  Our years of experience help us to provide expert advice and design consultation to our customers.

If this is your first year of pin trading, here are some helpful pointers to get you started:

  • Your pins need to be at least 1.5” big.  The bigger the pin, the faster it will be traded.  The more bold and unusual the pin, the higher perceived value it has.
  • Try to include your team mascot, your city and state, and the age group of the players.  This will make pins relevant and memorable.
  • Baseball theme emblems like bats, baseballs, and fields are always a good idea.  Who doesn’t love the sport?  Make sure that people can easily recognize your pins by including images that are familiar to others.
  • Adding extras like glitter, or danglers will help your pin stand out in a crowd which is what you want.  A little extra shine and attractiveness helps pins be more desirable. Your players will have their choice when trading pins like these.
  • Order early.  Once you have your design and you know your numbers, order your pins.  Each year, the closer and closer we get to summer, the longer it takes to get pins made.  Don’t be left out, order right away and take pride in knowing your custom trading pins will arrive in time for your first game.

Start the design process today.  Give us a call and we can take some information over the phone that will allow us to prepare a free digital sample for you to review.  The number to reach us at is 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  You can also email your request to info@lapelpinsplus.com or visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com for more information.  Contact us right away to get your custom trading pin design started.

Youth softball and baseball is heating up all across the U.S.  T-ballers to teenagers are in full swing of their seasons with their eyes on post season tournaments.  A few fortunate teams get to go to Cooperstown for a national tournament, but the majority of other teams will travel to other closer destinations for their tournaments.

No matter where your tournament is, trading pin “rules” will apply.  We are here to help you design the best pin possible that will trade better than all of the others.  Our years of experience designing custom trading pins helps us figure out what works and what doesn’t in regards to design.

Today, let’s look at the attached trading pin and see what made this such a successful pin.

Large Size

This is a 2” pin.  The bigger pin, the higher perceived value the pin has.  1.5” is the smallest you would want to go and we have done pins as big as 2.5” to 3”.

Glitter Paint

Glitter paint.  Adding glitter to any pin instantly takes a normal pin to an outstanding pin.  Try to incorporate glitter whenever possible.  It has great “bang for the buck”.

Black Metal Plating

The black metal plating of this pin is really cool too.  Little leaguers all over like pins that are plated in black.  They make the pin look tougher than most other pins.

Unique Shape and Design

Unique shapes and designs allow room for creativity.  The interesting way this pin is cut out was a huge hit at the tournament.

Player Names and Numbers

Customizing the pin with your players’ numbers is a great way to differentiate your team from others.  Personalized pins trade fast at tournaments.  People love going home with a piece of memorabilia from their experience.

Transform your trading pins this year by experimenting with different sizes, shapes, and add-ons.  We can give you suggestions once we’ve heard your idea or concept.  Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com today to see samples of the pins we’ve created for other baseball and softball teams.  You can also email your inquiries to info@lapelpinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free to request a free price quote and full color digital proof.

Now that we are officially in baseball and softball trading pin season, we thought we would do a quick blog on the advantages of ordering lanyards with your trading pins.

The first and most popular use of the lanyards is to pin your trading pins to the lanyard.  This keeps your pins in one area and makes for easy access when trading.  Each lanyard can hold a lot of pins which allows you to show off your traded pieces of memorabilia.

Another great use for lanyards is to attach your room key or hotel key to the key ring.  At large tournaments where the players sleep in villages, each player is responsible for keeping their own room key.  A lanyard with a key ring is the perfect tool to help keep track of your keys.

Parents can where the team lanyards to show off their pride.  Tournament officials, coaches and players can all wear lanyards that have identification cards attached in one of our PVC pouches.  Our badge holders come in many different shapes and sizes to accommodate your needs.

The badge holders are also great to hold maps or player rosters.  It has never been easier to just grab your PVC holder and see who is up to bat by checking your protected roster.  Your players can also wear these items to school and keep their ID cards in them.

Lanyards and trading pins are a great pair.  Enhance your trading pin experience by including an order of lanyards.  Visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com today to request a no obligation, free price quote and full color digital proof.  You can also call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free or email info@lapelpinsplus.com as well.  We can’t wait to get started on your trading pin and lanyard designs right away.

Now that it is April, we are one month closer to baseball and softball trading pin season.  Teams from across the country submit their design ideas to us so that they can have a great experience swapping pins with other players at games and tournaments.  The key to a successful trading pin season is to have the most unique pin possible.  A great way to do this is to add a spinner to your pin.

What is a spinner?  It’s a type of trading pin that consists of two pieces.  One piece serves as the base and is stationary.  The second piece spins.  It moves when touched hence the name spinner.  Baseball and softball players of all ages love this type of pin because it’s fun and interactive.

The trading pin you see here has the hurricane logo in the center as a spinner.  The simple motion of the pin catches everyone’s eye right away.  Unique pins like these are the first to be traded at an event.  Players love coming home with the coolest pins they can find.

The large 2” size of this pin also helps it to stand out in a crowd.  Large pins are seen as being more valuable.  They are able to hold a lot more information including player names and numbers which add to their appeal.  It’s easy to remember which teams you played when you have an awesome custom trading pin to take home with you.

April is the perfect month to get your trading pin designed and ordered for the upcoming summer tournaments.  It is very easy to do, our art department can help advise you of what object to transform into the spinner.  You can reach us by phoning 1-800-252-0904 toll-free or email info@lapelpinsplus.com.  To see the different trading pin options that we offer, visit http://www.lapelpinsplus.com/tradingpins.html/.
